The foolish long for love,
they have no self satisfaction
and seek around for companions.
The clever deny love,
they are satisfied with isolation
and suffer when they must rely on others.
The wise do not long for love,
nor do they refuse to love and be loved,
they live happily either alone or with a soul mate.
